As a 29 year old gay man I was neither horrified or insulted by the use of the word "faggot" in the song. The song was written over 30 years ago now and is a product of its time, no more, no less. I've danced like a mad man to this song in its unedited state and will continue to do so for many years to come. Hopefully the little snowflakes who are hurt by every little thing in todays media will eventually just melt away.
