  1. she's great, this isn't a criticism. it's more regarding CCM in general. you know in pop music only attractive females who can (and many times cannot) sing get to have careers, WHYYYYYYYYYYY is that ALSO true in what is supposed to be solely for the glory of God??? seems totally wrong to me. & it works with the fellas, too. all these hunky guys. c'mon. way too image conscious & playing into the "only attractive people can do this".

  2. Honestly this interview made me see Kari very differently. When she answered the question about being a female minister that really to be honest really surprised me her response. She mentioned what the scripture said about women in the church and yet still said that she believes it's okay for women to preach in the church and so on because her "Pastor said so and it's Biblical". It's not biblical and she even mentioned what the Bible actually said before she even answered the question. The start of her answering the question was like "well in my world" huh? The word of God is the not to be overshadowed by personal opinion, by what you think is right in your own eyes. The word of God is the final authority. Any question that really needed to be asked you could see she got uncomfortable about by saying "woah that's a loaded question."

To be honest I simply just saw Kari as a Christians singer with really nice pretty worship songs, not really a preacher or anything, and really that's what she is a singer, she could have just said well I simply minister through music and that's fine, and it is, but to go on about how she feels about women in the church and practically saying that the correct order in the church in regard to how women are to be is archaic and "unhealthy" is so not cool. saying that only a small margin of churches still go along with women not preaching and stuff and that churches are becoming more "healthier" as to say the churches that stick with what the scripture says about women in the church are "unhealthy' and the ones that are more progressive and new age are healthy, at that point that was it for me.

  3. Can we just agree with Kari on that Ice Cream "Sunday" shpeel? I am blown away by the reasonableness of her heart. Seriously. She's a smarty with a hearty. Basically, she's saying that we shouldn't treat Sunday Services like an ice cream shop, getting to choose whatever floats our ice cream banana split boat. Seriously!! Wow!!! It's about God's glory. How humbling. praise You Jesus

  4. Lee Bird-I don't usually comment on these things, but your audacity in accusing Kari Jobe of not being born again shocked me. In Romans 2:4,5 it is written that it is the KINDNESS of God that leads to repentance, and then immediately warns us not to judge, because when we judge it means we are doing the same things we are judging others for, and showing contempt for God's kindness. If you could read all of Romans 2 with a humble heart, asking God for help, it will change your life. God IS love, and it says throughout 1 John that if we don't love, we don't know God. Please, for your own sake, ask the Holy Spirit to show you His Truth. And for the sake of everyone else, if your comments don't line up with 1 Corinthians 13, keep them to yourself.

  6. I knew this girl from kids church. Her dad was the youth pastor. I'm going to go on record and say you guys are a mess. Making stars in the name of Jesus? Giving award shows like the ego maniacs of Hollywood. It's not cute, its sad. Stop turning your names into a brand. Challenge your faith by questioning it. Its not to late to not be enlightened.
